Leading In Light
The light has long been a feature of leadership at all levels, from those taking strong leadership in their own personal lives to those guiding whole organisations and large groups of people. It is likely it wasn’t called the light in these circumstances. It may have been called compassionate, authentic or even heart-led but what it refers to is the honest and loving approach to working with others to bring us to a place or state of being that we all want, to enjoy and thrive in, as individuals and all together.
If I talk about this in terms of vibrational frequency and energetic signatures, light is at a high frequency where love and joy sit; dependency, dictatorship and mindlessness (that have shown themselves in leaders across the ages) are at low vibrational frequencies.
It is clear that many do not actively seek to be leaders, but fall into this role. Others wish themselves into these spaces and work hard to be in a position to influence how things are, wherever that may be. Levels of light in both these cases show themselves in the approach and intention and fall or rise as these levels of light become affected by individual, collective and systemic energetic foundations.

Individual
An individual may have a heartfelt wish to do good, and help others. However, these intentions can often be shrouded in and come from a deep-seated trauma or emotional wounding that arrive as part of the heartfelt approaches. For instance, one may have been the victim of bullying in one’s childhood and is now motivated to help those who are being bullied (in whatever version of this dynamic is present or sought in one’s current circumstances) to move through the pain and damage associated. If you are directly helping those being bullied, this can be helpful, but if it is unconscious and shows up as a reaction to power, or a fear response in the face of challenge in a different role, that is not so helpful. Likewise, if a project team is set up to help those who have been bullied, it is likely that the presence of the unconscious fear response may lead to team members not asserting themselves or not responding well to others asserting themselves – the result might be “groupthink” or an overly consensus based decision making process that leads to a fuzzy and low energy outcome. So the energy of the pain and injustice of bullying becomes present in the work being done. This is not to say that love is not there, but that the energetics are, at a deeper level, at odds with each other and so can distort or skew the desired or predicted results or outcomes. Glancing over the deeper energetics at play explains at a profound level why so much of what we aim for, as we lead ourselves and each other on small and global scales, miss the mark and do not get us where we plan to be – all are made up of individuals and the energetics inside of us.

Collective
We all link into different collectives, whether that is family, hobby groups, teams, organisations and may hold formal or informal leadership roles within these. As well as these energies holding our own individual signatures according to our life experiences and context, they also hold an energy that is an amalgam of all of these that then begins to hold a distinct energy of its own. In the same way that individual experiences make up the eventual frequency of us individually, so experiences of the group hold an energy within the group frequency. For example, if a team has the experience of not being successful in an application for funding from an external agency, this produces a frequency that is made up of each individuals response to this, that also produces a group experience and a frequency signature that might be “failure”, “unworthiness” or something of a low frequency. And so the group begins to be the memory of the things it has done as a collective. And so the energy of all the things the collective begins to intend has this imprint or reflection of these experiences and resulting frequencies.
This also helps us see why collective intentions can go awry in their manifesting.

Systemic
We can see any grouping of collectives that rely on or influence each other for their operations as a system. And of course, this can be true at many different fractal levels, from cellular to universal. In this description of light and how the light is held in leadership settings, the inter-relationships of the energetic signatures of individuals, the collectives and their systems starts to be unfathomable in its complexity. And as one might (and many are) actively bring all their cognitive, experiential and operational prowess to bear on these complexities in order to bring about harmonious joy for us all in an infinite number of ways, still it evades us.
You may identify yourself as active in one or all of these levels of leadership and each is of relevance in bringing more light into this world. What is further required, and what is the subject of this approach, is a conscious attention to actively supporting the removal or transmuting of what blocks our individual light frequencies, so that groups, collectives and eventually whole systems can be made up of so much light that the systems themselves cannot help but be absorbed into and become light.
What I have learnt on my path to writing this, over many years of practical experience in different collectives and systems, is that one cannot bring to fruition at a collective or systemic level, what is begun in a light frequency (as we believe it to be) within us individually, into a collective that is largely holds a lower vibrational frequency as its signature. Even where there are those holding more light within the collective, the entity (culture) that is the remnants and reflection history of the group and its memory prevents the manifestation of outcomes worked toward by the collective, that reflect light. This is not to say that there are no frequencies of light when such individuals are at work or that the collective does not change, they are in constant flow. Rather, that the dominant energies of the history that holds lower vibrational frequency, and other individuals that may still hold some of these, may be hidden from conscious awareness and so propagate and recycle the same blocks to light without our even knowing it.

The Knowing-Doing Gap
There are those who are working actively at a global scale to bring about changes at all levels. They work particularly with groups that strive to bring organisations, agencies and their leaders to reflect and work with the complexity, flow and adaption of bringing flourishing and thriving into individual, collective and systemic aspects of life.
And still they are not getting all of the results that they would like. One would certainly say that the energetic frequency of light is being brought by some of those in those positions of influence. And yet they themselves have identified that there is a gap between knowing what to do and doing it. There are any number of academics, and practitioners alongside networks of people with immense knowledge and wisdom working together, and yet, still we are not as a whole, finding the love and joy in what we manifest.
Working with the energetics as a way of holding the complexities outlined above allows us to consciously pay attention to each of these layers, bringing more light into places where the lower dominating frequencies can be absorbed into the light and gradually we can manifest what we all want.
This work with energetics first, rather than outcome or project or endeavour to manifest, will ensure that when we do aim to deliver something tangible and practical into existence, that it comes from the frequency of light, and that all layers of that group and system are aligned in this.

Pre-Requisite, Openness
Having worked practically with many different models and approaches to complexity and in systems, with individuals, leaders, groups and communities, what I now know deeply within me is that what is required for this work with light to take form is openness. In ourselves, and particularly in our teams and organisations, we are severely constrained by what is allowed to be considered, which ways to convene and interact are sanctioned and supported and conversely what is not even allowed into our consciousness. In these groups and organisations, we are not individually prone to explore beyond these limits set, because they are not what has been rewarded, how we have got where we have, up until now.
We need a re-configuration of what we allow, how free we can flow to bring more light into focus. To some this will not feel so radical, and yet as a dominant hegemony we have a long way to go to feed and align with the light.

Core Components
To work using this approach when considering leadership and leading in light – raising and sustaining a coherent high frequency of energy is key and begins with the individual and the individual within a group. These can be addressed separately as individuals or concomitantly as individuals whilst being part of the group. Working as individuals as well as within a group reveals areas of challenge or block within the people as themselves, at the same time as being visible and dynamic as part of the group.
The first may be more applicable to those reading this wanting to lead in their own lives and not necessarily with a group or group objective as yet. The latter option is more effective for working in organisations or larger groups with the commitment to an objective or mission. The process of letting go of old individual patterns becomes normalised and contagious at the same time as affecting the energy signature of the group showing that positive change can come from this kind of work and has a tangible effect. The vulnerability, connection and support that is experienced as this group in this process adds further layers of energetic high frequency that build and support the notion and reality of leading in light.

Components For Working As An Individual
Energetic
-
Looking inside, going within
-
Finding and acknowledging one’s own willingness or openness to change, whatever level that is at
-
Learning to balance attention given to brain and heart
-
Explore and utilise a particular energetic architecture of the heart for the process of lightening
-
Engage with the heart process that will surface blocks to light and be instrumental in transmuting them.
Physical
-
Identify physical outdoor spaces that can correspond with the energetic heart spaces identified above
-
Visit and work with the energetic and physical in tandem
Audible
-
Identify and use sound (receiving and emitting) to bring energies into clearer awareness
-
Use sound to heal and transmute blocks identified
-
Use sound as a bridge between dimensions and frequencies

Components For Working As A Group
Of course each individual in the group will have all these individual components available to them. At the same time we work through the individual aspects and emergences but within a group dynamic. With the intention of learning and paying attention as a group, the following components are relevant.
-
Finding and acknowledging one’s own willingness to open to give and receive – different levels and capacities will show themselves to be brought into the individual processes above
-
Regular energetic connection (offline/telepathic) with the group whilst working through the above components
-
Giving and receiving support and engagement with the content of the experiences had with the group
-
Invitation to members of the group into our internal energetic spaces as well as permission to be invited by others into their internal energetic spaces.

Practical Applications
For each of the pathways above (individual and group), a follow-on from the practices is the application of what has been learnt about the energetic, physical and audible in a project or practical idea. This allows the realisations, shifts and expansions of operating to be tested, and the resulting observations of these experiences and what they produce in our lives and worlds, to be adjusted or to follow a further round of healing, transmutation for what emerges.
This gives a chance to work more fluidly, pulling in the different aspects at different times according to what is being worked towards and what is happening as a result.
This approach gives a depth of intention beyond the deficit of what isn’t there in our reality that we need to make so. It further allows the light to be found inside of us, quite literally and not in some term that is a woolly kind of description of idealistic and surface-level levity or well-intentioned emotional content.
The light and these processes are “extra-dimensional” in that that they place our energetics at the centre, which are not ordinarily allowed into projects, ideas or initiatives. In fact, many may find this deep approach intrusive and teams and organisations may not be prepared to ask this of those in their employ. It is likely that those who have found at least a hint of their true soul path or purpose recognise the unity of this approach with the consolidation and manifesting of their own truth and through this, of us all.
It is a clear set of processes that require a deep awareness that then creates a platform that can only produce something of the same nature as the light that has been uncovered and brandished proudly and gracefully through this preparatory phase of energetic development.
Pre-requisites to enter into working with these components are to have experienced all 3 Evolving Door Sessions . They are an hour each and will be live on-line once a month.
Once you have been through the Evolving Door, you can access the Leading in Light Courses.
Courses will begin in summer 2026. Small groups of 6 are required, more details to follow.
This is the new paradigm in action, with practical, accessible experience at the foundation.
